About Daughters of Kenya TRUST
Daughters of Kenya (DoK) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving and changing the lives of vulnerable girls and young women in Kenya and beyond. Established in 2016 and registered as a National Trust Organization, DoK focuses on empowering and supporting girls and young mothers aged between 12-35 years. Their strategic programs aim to rescue, educate, and empower these individuals through various initiatives.
DoK offers a range of programs and services designed to make a lasting impact. Their education program provides mentorship, guidance, and counseling to help girls gain valuable skills and access learning opportunities. They also prioritize economic empowerment by creating sustainable models that rescue and empower vulnerable girls and young mothers. Additionally, DoK focuses on leadership development to help girls grow into strong leaders.
In addressing the pressing issues of violence against women and sexual health, DoK implements programs that target young women and provide them with the resources they need to lead healthy and violence-free lives.
DoK's commitment to transforming lives is evident through their impactful projects and partnerships with organizations like Coaching Trail. By working in urban informal settlements and marginalized communities, DoK identifies and addresses the most urgent needs of vulnerable girls and young women.
To support DoK's mission and make a difference, you can donate, follow them on social media, or get in touch with their dedicated team. Join Daughters of Kenya in their journey to create a brighter future for the vulnerable girls and young women of Kenya.
