Daughters of Tomorrow (DOT) is a Singapore charity working alongside lower-income women to create pathways towards financial independence and social mobility. We believe women should have the opportunity to shape their own futures. Our role is to meet women where they are, understand the practical realities that affect their working lives, and connect them with the support, skills, networks and opportunities that can help them move forward. Our work spans employment bridging, skills development, confidence-building, financial literacy and post-employment support. We also work with employers, volunteers, community partners and donors to make opportunities more accessible and workplaces more inclusive. We take a whole-person, practical approach because employment does not happen in isolation. Childcare, caregiving responsibilities, finances, confidence, skills and workplace conditions can all shape a woman's ability to enter and sustain work. Beyond direct support, we share insights from our work and research to contribute to conversations about poverty, women's economic participation and social mobility in Singapore. At DOT, we see women as partners in their own journeys—not as problems to be fixed. We aim to build agency, widen possibilities and support progress that can last.
