Dauphin County Doulas

Dauphin County Doulas is a South Central Pennsylvania provider of birth and postpartum support, education, and family services. Guided by its mission to “Support Each Wave,” the team assists families throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period, whether they plan a home or hospital birth. Its doulas draw on more than 60 years of combined pregnancy and newborn-care experience, offering evidence-based information to help clients understand their options and make informed decisions.

Services include birth and postpartum doula care, lactation support, childbirth and baby-basics classes, and consultations. Families can also access TENS unit rentals, pain-management guidance, body balancing, before-baby preparation, gift registry consultations, car-seat installation and education, and sibling doula support. The team serves a broad area across South Central Pennsylvania and supports births at regional hospitals as well as eligible home births. Dauphin County Doulas is LGBTQ+ friendly and accepts Health Savings Account and Flexible Spending Account payments; many of its doulas are also Carrot benefit providers.
