The Deutscher Alpenverein (DAV) Section Ansbach is a local mountaineering and outdoor club serving members and visitors in the Ansbach area. It brings people together through courses, guided tours, community events, and activities for families, young people, hikers, climbers, and mountain bikers. Its program covers winter and summer pursuits as well as sport climbing, with schedules and reports available through the section.

Members can access practical services including equipment rental, an alpine library, a bouldering room, and a climbing tower. The section also manages or provides information about several places to stay and climb: Ansbacher Hütte, Skihütte Steibis, Imberghaus, and Kletterheim Aicha. Information includes facilities, prices, travel details, availability, and booking options; Aicha is also associated with a climbing area and opportunities to learn about local geology and nature.

The section offers membership information, insurance details, and a digital membership card. Its office in Ansbach provides member and tour administration support, while regular meetings and volunteer opportunities help sustain the club’s activities.
