Dave’s Rare Aquarium Fish is a specialist retailer offering a wide selection of freshwater fish, with a focus on rare African cichlids and catfishes. Its online catalog organizes fish by type and region, making it easier for aquarists to browse species from Lake Tanganyika, Lake Malawi, Lake Victoria, Madagascar, and other areas. Categories include shell dwellers, rock-dwellers, open-water and sand-dwelling Tanganyikans, Tropheus, Malawi peacocks and mbuna, as well as New World cichlids, plecos, other catfish, miscellaneous fishes, and invertebrates.

The shop’s listed offerings include named varieties such as Altolamprologus calvus, Aulonocara, Cyprichromis leptosoma, Julidochromis, and Corydoras panda, alongside invertebrates such as the giant blue wood shrimp. Product listings display prices and availability, with options to add fish to a cart or select variants where offered. Stock changes over time, and the store invites customers to join its newsletter for updates when new fish arrive. Customers can contact Dave’s Rare Aquarium Fish by phone or email with questions.
