About David Begnaud
Do Good Crew is a storytelling community founded by journalist David Begnaud to celebrate kindness, generosity, and people making a positive difference. Bringing together people who care about doing good, the brand shares stories of everyday heroes and highlights how acts of compassion can strengthen our shared humanity.
Its offerings include the weekly Do Good Crew newsletter, featuring uplifting stories and examples of people helping others, and The Person Who Believed in Me podcast. Hosted by Begnaud, the podcast asks leaders and changemakers who believed in them before the wider world did. Begnaud is an Emmy Award-winning journalist and CBS News Contributor who previously served for more than a decade as CBS News’ Lead National Correspondent. His reporting on Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico earned the George Polk Award for Public Service.
