David Walz is a talented multi-disciplinary animator and illustrator based in Jerusalem, originally from France. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film & TV Directing from the prestigious International Film School of Paris EICAR, David merges his passion for fine arts and sequential narrative with visual storytelling in animation. His debut work, "The Crossing," is a hybrid experimental short film that received international recognition at various festivals in the USA and France.
David has collaborated with notable clients worldwide, contributing his expertise to impactful projects, including the video "Eagle" presented at the United Nations Climate Change Conference COP22. His portfolio showcases impressive work from his time at H5 Studio in Paris, where he created commercials and corporate videos for luxury brands like Dior, Guerlain, Lacoste, and Hermès. Recently, he directed hand-drawn 2D sequences and 3D scenes for the documentary "The Shoshani Riddle," alongside creating 3D animated content for a high-tech company and various projects for Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem. David Walz’s artistry continues to leave a dynamic mark on the animation and illustration landscape.
