Dawson Self Defense

Dawson Self Defense, LLC provides safety-focused self-defense and firearms education designed to help students build confidence, manage personal safety, and make sound decisions under stress. Instructor Stacy Dawson specializes in working with newer shooters, particularly women, and teaches firearm skills for home defense, concealed carry, and personal protection. Training emphasizes safe practices, with strict protocols for classroom and range activities.

The company offers group firearms classes, one-on-one private lessons, women’s concealed-carry holster instruction, off-body carry training, and image-based decisional drills. Classes may include live-fire range practice or dry-fire exercises, depending on the course. Group sessions are available at multiple locations, and organizations can ask about hosting training at their facilities. Firearms classes are generally for students aged 21 and over; private instruction for younger students may be arranged by request.

Dawson’s instructor credentials include certifications from the NRA, USCCA, Armed Women of America, and other training organizations. The business also connects women with the NE Atlanta chapter of Armed Women of America, welcoming interested participants to meetings.
