Den Balancerede Ekvipage is a horse therapy and rider-support business run by Caroline Sandbeck Hansen in Middelfart, Denmark. Its aim is to help horses and riders function well together by addressing physical challenges and planning training to support the partnership. The core service is physiotherapeutic horse therapy, with treatments tailored to each horse and combining techniques according to its needs.

Treatments include massage to ease muscle tension and improve suppleness, craniosacral therapy using gentle stretches and pressure, joint mobilisation to address restricted movement, and laser therapy, which is described as helping reduce pain and inflammation. Riders can also book massage to support their own physical performance. A drive-in option allows clients to bring their horse to Caroline, helping reduce travel and waiting time.

The business also offers talks and workshops on horse biomechanics, choosing and assessing equipment, massage for home use, stretching exercises, and pole work. Caroline’s approach focuses on supporting both horse and rider, with recommendations from clients highlighting her work with horses’ comfort, mobility, and readiness to perform.
