This alliance comprises the most important academic organizations in Germany, including the German Research Foundation, the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, the German Academic Exchange Service, and many more prestigious institutions. The Alliance strongly supports the Federal Government's actions against Russia's belligerent attack on Ukraine, viewing it as a violation of international law and an assault on fundamental values of freedom, democracy, and self-determination. They express full solidarity with their partners in Ukraine and pledge to continue academic collaborations and support students and academics displaced by the conflict.
