The Durban Holocaust & Genocide Centre (DHGC) is a place of remembrance and education, dedicated to honoring the six million Jews who perished in the Holocaust and all victims of Nazism. Established in 2008, the Centre is located in the Durban Jewish Centre and has since expanded to include a comprehensive permanent exhibition, as well as media and seminar spaces for educational programs. Beyond its commitment to preserving history, the DHGC also engages in public outreach initiatives, bringing awareness to contemporary human rights abuses and genocide.

With a passionate team led by Founder and Director Mary Kluk, the DHGC is driven by a vision to build a new society in South Africa. Supported by a dedicated Board of Trustees, the Centre is part of the South African Holocaust and Genocide Foundation, which promotes Holocaust and genocide education through teacher training, materials development, and seminars.
