DC-3PO is a Portuguese company working to position Portugal as a strategic destination for investment in digital infrastructure. It leads data center projects with an emphasis on international partnerships, technological innovation and sustainable development, aiming to create long-term value for the country and support growth in the national digital economy. Its work includes identifying potential data center sites and coordinating technical, legal, energy and territorial due diligence with local partners.

In partnership with DARK, DC-3PO is advancing plans for a potential data center at the former Novo Banco facility in Carnaxide, including a request to increase the site’s power supply and the development of technical and architectural designs. The company is also evaluating additional locations across Portugal based on energy access, urban viability and logistics.

Through its HUB F. DATACENTERS initiative, DC-3PO promotes Portuguese suppliers in the data center value chain. The hub supports technical knowledge-sharing, connects international clients with local capabilities and seeks to strengthen skills for domestic services and future export opportunities.
