Drachenbootclub Zuarin e. V. is a dragon boat club based in Schwerin, Germany, established in 2001.
Its roots lie in the Telekom-Crew and Telekom-Ladies, recreational teams that began racing in 1996 and achieved regional success. Today, the club brings people together through dragon boat sport, fostering teamwork, fitness, and enjoyment on the water. Members train at Stangengraben, with regular sessions on Monday evenings and Thursday evenings during the season.
The club welcomes people interested in taking on a demanding team sport and invites prospective paddlers to get in touch or attend a training session. It also offers team events for groups seeking a distinctive team-building experience. Club teams take part in regional competitions and events, including the Schwerin Dragon Boat Festival and long-distance races.
The inclusive team Dragon Wonders is among the club’s groups, reflecting its emphasis on shared participation and team spirit. Through its training, racing, and group events, Drachenbootclub Zuarin offers opportunities to experience dragon boating as both a sport and a social activity
