DC DRONE RECOVERY

DC Drone Recovery LLC provides aerial recovery services using thermal drones, helping hunters locate deer and other game animals when a shot does not result in an immediate recovery. The company also offers recovery for pets and livestock, alongside herd analysis and drone photography. Its services are designed to search large areas efficiently while limiting disturbance to wildlife.

The company uses drones equipped with thermal imaging, night vision, search lights, and powerful zoom lenses to help identify animals from above. According to its website, the aircraft can cover hundreds of acres in a few hours, and a drone can be airborne within about 60 seconds of arriving onsite. Search times vary with the service and conditions; many recoveries take less than 1.5 hours, while weather, temperature, and dense tree cover can affect results. The site notes that deer or game animals have sometimes been located up to 48 hours after being shot.
