The Deutsche Cochlea Implantat Gesellschaft e. V. (DCIG) is a registered self-help association that has been recognized as a nonprofit organization for three decades.
For many people, hearing is something taken for granted, but when the sense of hearing suddenly stops functioning properly, it can lead to a sense of isolation. The DCIG aims to provide individuals with access to the world of hearing through modern hearing technology, specifically the Cochlear Implant (CI). Our members consist of individuals who utilize modern hearing technology, with most communicating orally and some also using sign language.
We are all experts in communication. The DCIG offers various events and programs, including seminars, conferences, and support group leader training. Our calendar provides important tips and updates from different regions.
