Dětské centrum Jihočeského kraje, o. p. s. is a nonprofit, non-state healthcare and social-service provider based on the grounds of Strakonice Hospital in the Czech Republic. Its mission is to support children and families facing difficult social circumstances, with particular attention to children who need urgent protection and care. The centre provides residential, home-like support for children from birth to age 18, especially infants and toddlers, and can offer immediate help to families in crisis.

Its services bring together healthcare, rehabilitation, psychological support, educational care and social counselling. The centre also provides social rehabilitation for mothers and other family members, helping strengthen relationships in families at risk. As a facility authorised to provide immediate assistance to children, it carries out child social and legal protection activities under Czech law. The organisation builds on the work of a crisis centre in České Budějovice and works within the South Bohemian Region’s social-service network. Its approach is centred on practical, comprehensive assistance for children and the people responsible for their care.
