About Derek Cline Memorial Foundation
The Derek Cline Memorial Foundation is dedicated to continuing the legacy of Derek Cline, a beloved figure in Western New York's youth sports community. Established to honor his memory, the foundation focuses on making a positive impact in the lives of aspiring ice hockey officials and baseball umpires. It offers scholarships to high school seniors who embody Derek's spirit of love, laughter, and dedication.
Recent initiatives include financial assistance for ice hockey officials completing camps in 2024 and support for youth camps like Dreams From the Heart. The foundation actively promotes community involvement through various events, such as meat raffles, and encourages donations to fund its programs.
