dComms is a decentralized communication platform in Ukraine designed to provide alternative communication services for internet users in cases of access restriction or censorship. Launched in February 2022 by the Canadian organization eQualitie in response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, dComms offers Ukrainian users decentralized internet services such as Mastodon, Matrix, and the Ceno browser, giving users control over their communication unlike social media giants. By using decentralized services like Mastodon and Matrix based on principles of decentralization and federation, users can ensure continuous communication even during internet disruptions.

The services are hosted on local servers in Ukraine, allowing users to communicate with each other, access the external internet, and maintain privacy and security. dComms does not share user data with private companies or authorities, making it an ideal alternative to tech giants for users concerned about privacy and data security
