Drug Delivery to the Lungs (DDL) is an annual conference and professional community focused on pulmonary and nasal drug delivery. Now in its 37th year, the event brings together more than 1,100 attendees from around the world, including scientists, academics, clinicians, regulators and industry professionals. Across three days, participants can attend expert lectures, explore scientific posters, meet exhibitors and build professional connections.
DDL’s programme covers developments in aerosol science and respiratory medicine delivery, with conference papers, workshops, recorded lectures and resources from previous years available through its online archive. A large industry exhibition features international companies working across the field, while sponsorship and exhibition opportunities support organisations seeking to engage with the community.
The conference also invests in emerging talent. Students can attend for free, and early-career researchers can access the New Researcher Network, Career Development Grants and awards including the Emerging Scientist Award and Pat Burnell Young Investigator Competition.
