De Koestering is an independent funeral care provider serving families in Kloosterzande and Hulst in the Netherlands. Founded in 2015, it opened a second location in 2021, offering welcoming, private spaces where relatives can spend time with a loved one before the funeral. Both locations have two spacious rooms, available around the clock, with a separate seating area and hot and cold drinks. Families receive their own key and can say goodbye in their own way; staff are available to provide personal support, a listening ear and practical assistance, including guidance during visits.
The company arranges funeral care from the moment of death through the period after the service, with one consistent contact person available 24 hours a day. Its services include organising the arrangements for a burial or cremation and transporting the deceased using its own funeral vehicles. De Koestering welcomes everyone, including people insured through another funeral provider.
