Deafingo

Deafingo Services is a Deaf-led organisation based in Cockburn Central, Western Australia, supporting Deaf and Hard of Hearing people through inclusive services, advocacy, education, and community programs. Founded by Deaf mentor and advocate Ben Findlay, the organisation draws on lived experience to provide mentoring that responds to each person’s goals and helps build confidence, connection, and independence.

Its services include NDIS mentoring and peer support, advocacy for communication access and Deaf-led representation, and interactive Deaf awareness training. Workshops for workplaces, schools, families, and community groups explore Deaf culture, communication, hearing loss, and introductory Auslan. Deafingo also runs events and gatherings that celebrate Deaf culture and Auslan, and works with community and employment partners to strengthen inclusion.

Through its online shop, the brand offers Super Deafingo products, including a children’s book featuring a Deaf superhero, a collectible keyring, and a tactile fidget toy. Deafingo Services serves communities across Australia, with programs and events highlighted in Western Australia, and aims to help create more accessible, respectful, and connected environments.
