Dearing Country Farms is a brand that embodies sustainability, resilience, and a commitment to community. With a deep-rooted faith in God and a love for family and neighbors, Dearing Country Farms has overcome adversity and built a thriving community through their sustainable products and pioneering education. Their story began when Jackie and Brad, after years of separation, reunited and settled in Bloomington/Normal, Illinois.

Inspired by their dream of designing and constructing their own home, they acquired 30 acres of land and embarked on a conservation project, planting over 5000 native trees and shrubs. Determined to grow things naturally, Dearing Country Farms adopted the USDA Organic Program and Certified Naturally Grown process. They raised cage-free, pasture-fed chickens, selling their organic eggs at the local farmer's market.

Encouraged by customer demand, they expanded their offerings to include produce, meat, and dairy products—all produced without the use of herbicides, pesticides, or synthetic fertilizers. Despite facing personal tragedies, including the loss of their dream home to a house fire, the Dearing family remained resilient, with the support of their loved ones and community. In recent years, they faced additional challenges, including the impact of COVID-19 and health issues.

These circumstances led them to reflect and pivot their focus towards establishing the Pioneer and Sustainability AgriLearning Center. Drawing from their combined expertise in engineering, technology, retail management, and homestead agriculture, they aim to create a space for community development and education. Located in Bloomington, Illinois, Dearing Country Farms continues to embrace sustainability and foster a tight-knit community.
