De Bayser

Galerie de Bayser is a Paris-based art gallery and specialist drawings appraisal firm, founded in 1936 by Patrick and Rose-Anne de Bayser. Dedicated primarily to works on paper, the gallery presents a selection of around 600 drawings dating from the 16th to the 20th century, including works from the French, Italian and Northern European schools. Its collection includes drawings offered loose or framed, and the gallery supports private collectors in choosing works while also serving major French and international institutions. Visitors can explore its exhibition rooms in a 17th-century Paris townhouse on rue Sainte-Anne.

The Cabinet de Bayser provides expertise in Old Master drawings, with appointments available in person from Monday to Friday and online through a submission form with photographs. The firm works with more than 100 auctioneers across Paris and the regions, and organizes around ten specialist public sales in active periods, including March, June and December. Galerie de Bayser also publishes Les Cahiers du Dessin Français, a series launched in 1985 that combines artist-focused essays with illustrated catalogues of representative drawings.
