Debbie Dolphins

Debbie Dolphins Swimming School is a Midrand-based swim school that has taught swimming since 2008. It welcomes babies, children, adults and competitive athletes, with lessons designed to build water confidence, practical skills and lifelong enjoyment of swimming. The school combines more than 15 years of experience with internationally recognised ASA UK and Swim SA qualifications and structured teaching methods.

Baby classes for ages six months to three years focus on comfort, safety, buoyancy, breathing and orientation. From age three, toddlers and children follow a seven-step development programme introducing the four strokes and core aquatic skills, with activities including water polo, diving and rowing. Squad training prepares swimmers for racing and competition, with coaching delivered in partnership with Northern Tigers Swimming in Pretoria.

Adult programmes support beginners, people overcoming a fear of water, and swimmers developing fitness or preparing for triathlons and open-water challenges. Debbie Dolphins also offers endurance training, one-on-one lessons and school programmes.
