Marianne J Jansen

Atelier de Beeltenis is the creative practice of artist Marianne J. Jansen, presenting drawings, paintings and sculptures inspired by human emotion, movement and distinctive forms. In her drawn works, Jansen uses long, flowing lines to explore the drama of feeling and dance. Her subjects also include portraits, world women and animals, with pigs serving as a recurring source of artistic inspiration. The atelier shares work through exhibitions and art events, including solo and group presentations, and has featured pieces in settings such as the Thijnhof museum and international art gatherings.

Alongside her own practice, Atelier de Beeltenis offers lessons and workshops in sculpture techniques, drawing, painting and modelling. From April through September, a full-day class is held on the last Saturday of each month, with morning and afternoon sessions and lunch in between. The atelier also organises artistic journeys, including a planned 2026 workshop in Sardinia. Through its artwork, teaching and creative travel experiences, Atelier de Beeltenis invites people to explore visual art and develop their own skills.
