Standing Beside Him, part of the Caregiver Education Center, supports partners and spouses navigating a loved one’s prostate cancer journey. Its mission is to help caregivers feel seen, informed, and less alone through practical education, honest conversations, and lived experience. The site offers resources for people at different stages, from a new diagnosis through treatment and ongoing caregiving.

Resources include a free Newly Diagnosed Caregiver Guide, educational and personal articles, caregiver books, YouTube videos, and a library of printable worksheets and planning tools. These materials can help with questions for healthcare teams, appointment organization, caregiver binders, and preparation for surgery, radiation, or hormone therapy (ADT). The site also provides guidance on caregiving’s emotional effects, relationships, intimacy, and self-care, alongside financial and workplace information covering topics such as budgeting, Medicare, Social Security, and assistance programs.

Partners and caregivers can join Sunday Caregiver Coffee & Conversation, a private Facebook group, and find materials for support group leaders.
