DECAL Scholars

**DECAL Scholars**

DECAL Scholars is an initiative supported by the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning, dedicated to empowering early childhood educators throughout Georgia. The program focuses on providing resources and support to help these educators advance their careers and enhance their educational credentials. Key offerings include CDA Scholarships for those pursuing their Child Development Associate credential, as well as academic scholarships aimed at furthering education in early childhood education, including Montessori programs.

In addition, DECAL Scholars provides financial incentives for educators who have recently earned a degree or credential, offering annual bonuses as a reward for their commitment. Educational counseling services are also available to guide educators through the steps necessary for enrollment and career progression. By fostering a supportive environment, DECAL Scholars envisions a future where early childhood educators achieve their educational goals and adhere to the highest standards in early childhood education, ultimately benefiting children and families across the state.
