Los laboratorios Dechra se fundaron el 05/09/86 en la ciudad de Londrina, estado de Paraná, como resultado de una idea del Dr. Ronald Irineu Paleari quien, con la salida del mercado de la multinacional Syntex do Brasil, se dio cuenta de que el suministro de sueros las drogas anti-venenosas se verían perjudicadas, ya que los laboratorios gubernamentales no podrían satisfacer la demanda.
