About Deckenpfronn
Flugsportverein Sindelfingen e.V. The club brings together various aviation disciplines, including gliding, powered flight, and model flying, catering to a diverse community of 130 model flyers, 77 active gliders, and 11 motor aviators, along with an additional 100 supportive members. The club places a strong emphasis on youth involvement, with 25 young pilots actively participating in club activities, making it one of the leading aviation organizations in Southwest Germany.
Visitors can enjoy the newly renovated Thermik Stüble restaurant, which offers regional cuisine and a perfect view of aircraft takeoffs and landings. The club also allows passengers to experience flying firsthand, providing a unique perspective from above. Regular events, including the family-friendly aviation day in September, showcase various flying activities and promote community engagement. The club continues to offer quality aviation accessories and encourages everyone to discover the joy of flying, whether as a pilot or a spectator.
