DECK Leadership

DECK Leadership is a consulting and team-development firm that helps organizations build connected, effective, high-performing teams. Its approach draws on the demands of NASCAR pit crews, using the pillars of Diversity, Efficiency, Culture, and Kindness to foster speed and stronger collaboration. The firm applies these principles across professions, with programming tailored to each client’s needs.

DECK Leadership offers a workshop series, speaking engagements, coaching, and immersive learning experiences. Workshops bring pit-crew practices into organizations of different sizes, while coaching supports individuals and teams seeking to strengthen the four DECK pillars. Immersive experiences let participants learn and apply leadership lessons on Pit Row alongside NASCAR professionals. Programs can range from a one-day pit-crew experience to a series of workshops.

The leadership teachings were developed by Mike Metcalf and Shaun Peet. Metcalf is a high-performance leadership expert, speaker, and culture architect, as well as a NASCAR pit-crew coach with experience coaching teams and competing in the sport.
