De Danske Vasaløbere

De Danske Vasaløbere is a Danish cross-country skiing community connected with the Danish Ski Federation. It helps Danish skiers take part in the traditional Vasaloppet, the long-distance ski race in Sweden, by arranging an annual group trip. Participants can purchase race entries with or without transport and accommodation, including after entries have sold out in Sweden. Joining the trip requires membership in a ski club in Denmark.

The community also shares practical information about travel and the race, and provides updates on cross-country skiing, roller skiing and ski marathons in Denmark. News about events, competitions and group training is published mainly through social media, including its Facebook and Instagram groups and related Danish skiing communities. Those who do not use Facebook can subscribe to the “Langrend, rulleski og langløb på ski” newsletter for links to relevant information and activities. The Vasaloppet arrangements are coordinated through the Danish Ski Federation, with Nikolaj Kolte listed as the Vasaloppet coordinator.
