Deep Sea Cigar Co. is a premium cigar brand that combines commercial diving techniques with cigar aging. Founded by Wesley Trescott, a U.S. Navy veteran and commercial engineer diver, the company uses hyperbaric chambers to condition cigars under pressure. Its process exposes cigars to air pressure equivalent to depths of 100 to 150 feet of seawater for at least 17 days, followed by a custom decompression schedule intended to preserve and enhance their taste and texture.
The online catalog features products such as the Bailout cigarillos, Buddy Diver cigars, and Mark V torpedoes, offered in boxes and other formats when available. Each cigar box includes a signed dive log inside the lid. Buddy Diver boxes also use a removable “buddy tab” and sea sponge, which the company describes as a reusable natural humidity control; its sponges are harvested by divers in Florida.
Deep Sea Cigar Co. sells directly through its online shop, provides international shopping options, and offers free shipping on orders over $300.
