Defcon Defense is a private firearms training school operated by John Tyson Hudson in Guthrie, Oklahoma, serving Oklahoma City, Edmond, Stillwater, and the surrounding metro area. With 15 years of teaching experience, Hudson provides instruction for beginners, concealed-carry students, and experienced shooters. He is a sheriff’s deputy, range master for the sheriff’s office, and competition shooter, with more than 1,000 hours of certified training.
Classes and services include Oklahoma Self-Defense Act (SDA) and concealed-carry training, beginner handgun instruction, one-on-one private lessons, a ladies’ course, advanced handgun training, and NRA courses in firearm safety, protection, pistol, rifle, and shotgun. Training takes place on the school’s private range in Guthrie and can be arranged for individuals or classes.
