About Estonian Defence Industry Association
The Estonian Defence and Aerospace Industry Association is a leading organization representing the defence and security industry companies in Estonia. Founded in 2009, it aims to create better opportunities for its member companies in the markets of goods and services for defence and security purposes. With over 130 member companies, the association covers almost all the defence, space, and security-related industries in Estonia.
One of the notable achievements of the association is the successful acquisition of EUR 6 million from the European Defence Industrial Development Programme for seven projects involving Estonian defence industry companies. These projects will focus on developing new technological solutions, with the Estonian state providing almost EUR 500,000 in financing. In addition, the association recently introduced the Estonian Defence Industry Award of the Year, recognizing outstanding achievements in the field.
By promoting collaboration and innovation, the Estonian Defence and Aerospace Industry Association contributes to the defence and security capability as well as the economic development of Estonia
