About de Gata
Cabo de Gata Natural Park, located between the municipalities of Almería, Níjar, and Carboneras in Andalucía, Spain, is a unique semi-desert landscape with a volcanic past. This ecological treasure spans 38,000 hectares on land and includes an additional 12,000 hectares of marine area, making it the largest protected marine-terrestrial space in the Iberian Peninsula. Recognized for its exceptional endemic flora and fauna, Cabo de Gata features diverse natural biotopes, including Mediterranean steppes, dune formations, and breathtaking cliffs.
