DEHUKAM

DEHUKAM, the Ankara University National Center for the Sea and Maritime Law, is a research infrastructure in Türkiye operating under Law No. 6550. It focuses on maritime law and ocean-related issues through research, education, academic activities, and cooperation with national and international partners. Its work includes projects, symposiums, delegations, training programs, and research on topics such as the law of the sea, climate change, and sustainable development.

DEHUKAM offers postgraduate education, including master’s programs with and without a thesis and a PhD program, alongside scholarships, internships, and volunteer opportunities. Its library provides a book catalog and access to graduate theses and other academic resources. The center also publishes books, symposium proceedings, and DEHUKAMDER, a peer-reviewed journal issued twice a year. Its website features research updates, activity reports, publications, and information about its teams, advisors, and institutional partnerships. Through these services, DEHUKAM supports scholarly work and education in maritime law while sharing research and convening experts and stakeholders.
