Deichelmaus

Narrenzunft Deichelmaus is a carnival guild dedicated to celebrating Fasnet through local traditions, costumes, dance, and community events. The organization welcomes members and supporters to take part in its seasonal campaign and activities. Its traditional costume characters include the Deichelmaus, Strohhansle, and Schellennaar, whose histories are presented on the guild’s website. Members can find information about costume registration, costume care contacts, and a Häsbörse for pre-owned costumes and replacement parts.

The guild also supports a broad dance program, with groups including the Prinzengarde, Juniorengarde, Junggarde, Purzelgarde, and show-dance teams for adults and juniors. Its website shares campaign news, event dates, prince and princess announcements, downloads, and details about the guild’s officers and youth committee. Visitors can explore upcoming Fasnet gatherings, parties, and dance events, or learn how to join through the membership form. The guild also offers branded club clothing and invites supporters to follow its updates on social media. Its 2025/2026 campaign motto celebrates Fasnet in a digital age while affirming the tradition’s enduring spirit.
