De Koggemeer

De Koggemeer is a midwifery practice serving expectant parents in Koggenland, Opmeer, Wognum and nearby areas in West Friesland. Its small team of four midwives—Astrid, Kelly, Carmen and Suzanne—offers personal, professional care, with attention to each family’s wishes and needs. The team is available around the clock and aims to help clients build a familiar relationship with the midwives throughout pregnancy, so a trusted face can be present during birth.

The practice supports families through a range of services, including preconception advice, ultrasound scans, pregnancy care, birth support and postnatal care. It also provides contraception services and care following miscarriage. Clients can attend appointments at locations in Obdam, De Goorn, Wognum, Opmeer and Spierdijk. Those living in neighboring areas are invited to contact the practice to discuss whether care can be provided. De Koggemeer emphasizes clear information, practical guidance and continuity of support, including staying involved when a client receives medical care through a hospital. For urgent contact, the practice can be reached by phone 24 hours a day.
