Delmarva Transitional Services (DTS) is a full-service senior move management and transition company serving the Delmarva Peninsula. Since 2004, it has helped older adults, families, and caregivers navigate downsizing, moving, and age-in-place changes, with a focus on reducing stress. Its certified relocation and transitional specialists assess clients’ needs, create transition plans and timetables, coordinate resources, and manage or supervise sorting, packing, moving, organizing, and resettlement.

Additional support includes home modifications, custom-designed floor plans, sales of unneeded belongings, and home cleanouts with dumpster and disposal services. DTS provides these services in-house, enabling clients to arrange multiple aspects of a transition through one provider. The company belongs to the National Association of Senior Move Managers and emphasizes safety, ethics, professional training, and continuing education.

Founder Dave Allen established DTS after nearly 25 years in the auction industry. He is a licensed auctioneer and appraiser in Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia, with credentials in personal property appraisal.
