Dem Himmel entgegen

Dem Himmel entgegen is a pet funeral service based in Neuss, Germany, supporting owners through the loss of a beloved animal. Founded by Ramona Junghans, who trained as a veterinary assistant and continues to work part-time in a small-animal practice, the business combines practical experience with a personal, compassionate approach. Ramona works closely with her family to guide clients and answer questions throughout the process.

Services include collecting pets from a veterinary practice or the owner’s home, arranging cremation with partner providers, and helping families find meaningful keepsakes. Owners can choose individual cremation, in which the pet is cremated separately and identification procedures support correct attribution, or communal cremation, where ashes are cremated together and later placed in a scattering bed. The service also offers urns and other memorial options through its partners.

Dem Himmel entgegen provides transparent cremation prices based on the animal’s weight, with separate transport fees that include return after cremation. Weekend and public holiday surcharges can be discussed.
