Démocratie Ouverte is an independent and non-partisan organization that has been working for over a decade to promote democratic innovation in France, Europe, and around the world. With the belief that our democracy is in danger, they aim to improve its functioning through transparency, participation, and cooperation. The association has a strong community of 1000 dedicated members who are mobilized across France to support democratic innovation.

Démocratie Ouverte operates in three main areas: the Innovation and Territories Hub, which tests innovative citizen participation methods and approaches to rethink democracy in communities and businesses; Advocacy and Citizen Mobilization, where solutions are developed and advocated for with partners and members to ensure that democratic renewal is at the center of public debate; and the DEMOMETRE, a new digital platform designed in collaboration with partners and members. This open and free platform allows users to evaluate and improve local democratic life with just a few clicks. Démocratie Ouverte aims to make our society more transparent, cooperative, and participatory by advocating for a more open democracy.
