De Moerenaar is a family-run cheese farm and visitor destination in De Moeren, near Veurne, Belgium. Tine and Lieven invite visitors to discover how a modern dairy farm works alongside an on-site cheesemaking operation and farm shop. For around 30 years, the farming family has developed its craft of making cheese from healthy, fresh milk produced by its own cows.
The milk is pasteurized, and the cheeses are made by hand on the farm. De Moerenaar offers a varied selection of cheeses, available through its farm shop and selected food retailers. Visitors can also explore the dairy barn and milking robot, see the modern cheese-making facilities, and arrange a tasting or visit to the “Boeren in de Moeren” experience center by reservation.
The shop sells gift baskets and assorted cheese boards, making it easy to enjoy the farm’s products at home or share them with others. The farm shop has seasonal opening hours, with regular Thursday-to-Saturday hours outside holiday periods
