Demon Yachts is a boatbuilding and marine services business based at Aldeburgh Boatyard. Building on the yard’s long history of boatbuilding, the team works on new vessels as well as the restoration, refit and maintenance of existing boats. Its services include electric motor installations, CNC machining and design, composite work, and the construction of boats and components.
The company builds Kite class boats and develops Workdemon, an all-electric boat available for pleasure use or as a workboat platform. Its electric launches can be equipped with solar charging, and the Workdemon design can serve uses such as harbour transport or fishing. Demon Yachts also undertakes bespoke new builds and has experience restoring classic and racing yachts, including six-metre-class boats and Loch Long One Designs. Work can range from structural repairs and rebuilds to handcrafted spars, rigging-related work and seasonal preparation.
Through its brokerage, the business offers boats for sale and supports projects from initial design and construction through restoration.
