Den architektury is a prominent architectural festival taking place in the Czech Republic, celebrated for fostering appreciation and understanding of architecture through a rich program of events. From September 27 to October 3, 2024, the festival will hold its 14th edition, focusing on the theme "The Process of Transformation," which honors the 100th anniversary of the death of renowned writer Franz Kafka. The festival promises an extensive lineup with hundreds of activities across over 120 cities, inviting participants to explore both celebrated and overlooked architectural gems from new perspectives.

In addition to celebrating the works of historical figures like architects Josef Fanta, Karel Hubáček, and František Maxmilián Kaňka, Den architektury creatively merges literature and architecture, exploring Kafka's influence on the urban landscape. The festival not only showcases the significance of these architectural icons but also includes film screenings and discussions that highlight both local and international architectural films, making it a comprehensive celebration of design, history, and culture.
