Dendros Cooperativa

Dendros Idea Gestión Local y Ambiental S. Coop. CLM is a worker cooperative focused on sustainability and community engagement. Founded in 2013, it began with agroecology as a starting point and has since expanded its work across several related fields. The cooperative draws inspiration from the tree, reflected in its name, and emphasizes collaboration, community and networks as foundations for sustaining life and supporting the planet.

Dendros manages and develops projects in environmental education, local development, biodiversity and agroecology, as well as citizen participation and related studies. Its environmental education work helps people understand socio-environmental challenges. In local development, it supports communities in making sustainable use of their economic, social, natural and heritage resources. Its biodiversity work responds to the pressures behind declining biodiversity, while its agroecology projects promote more sustainable relationships between people, land and agricultural systems, including the conditions of those who work the land. Through this diverse portfolio, Dendros brings experience and a community-oriented approach to sustainability initiatives.
