Wissensvermittlung in der Denkmalpflege (WvD) is a nonprofit association dedicated to making historic crafts and the care of cultural heritage accessible to a broad audience. Through weekend seminars, participants can experience traditional techniques firsthand and develop a greater understanding and appreciation of their value. Workshops cover a range of crafts, including blacksmithing, earthen construction, chair-making and willow weaving, felting and dyeing, woodworking, stained glass and bookbinding.

The association also organizes guided tours and excursions for people of all ages, exploring architectural, historical and landscape-design themes. Its programme includes visits to small and mid-sized towns, European cities and natural areas, as well as lectures, exhibitions and online talks. WvD works with Denkmalnetz Sachsen and the Jugendbauhütten, a project of the German Foundation for Monument Protection, to support its educational activities. It also provides a platform for current and former Jugendbauhütte participants to connect. Based in Oschatz, WvD shares upcoming events through a monthly newsletter and welcomes members and donations to help sustain its work.
