Denknavigatie

Denknavigatie is a practice in Maarssen that supports children experiencing developmental, behavioural or learning difficulties, whether or not they have a formal diagnosis. Its approach is holistic: the practice explores how a child has developed across different areas to understand the underlying causes of difficulties and identify opportunities for change. Support is tailored to each child’s needs and strengths, with attention to learning, social and emotional development, school subjects and everyday independence.

Denknavigatie offers individual guidance and learning-potential assessments for children, as well as consultations, training and workshops for schools. Physical activities and the body are incorporated alongside thinking and learning, and families and teachers are closely involved in the guidance process. The aim is to help children feel more comfortable and confident, while making development and learning more manageable. The practice addresses concerns such as concentration, reading and maths challenges, school attendance, emotional outbursts, communication, impulsivity and relationships with peers.
