Denmark Girls Basketball is the girls’ basketball program at Denmark High School in Alpharetta, Georgia. Known as the Lady Danes, the team began its inaugural season in October 2018 and competes in Region 6, Class AAAAAA. The program invites the community to cheer on its players at home games at “The Den” and celebrates their development and achievements on and off the court.
The program serves players across varsity, junior varsity, and feeder teams. Its website provides schedules for each level, information about the coaching staff, and news and program documents for players, families, and supporters. It also highlights camps and Little Hoopers opportunities, program and team history, individual records, honors and awards, and players who have advanced to the next level.
Denmark High School opened in August 2018 as Forsyth County’s sixth traditional high school, named in honor of Georgia pediatrician Dr. Leila Denmark. The Lady Danes program welcomes community support and recognizes sponsors who contribute to its pursuit of excellence in basketball.
