DENT HORSE

DENT HORSE provides mobile equine dental care across the Weser-Ems region, led by Stephanie Schröer. With a focus on individual, high-quality treatment, Stephanie aims to support horses’ dental health, comfort and function. Services include routine dental checks, assessment of dental problems and treatment using water-cooled equipment and specially made hand rasps. Horses are generally sedated to help make procedures safer and less stressful; sedation is provided in cooperation with two veterinarians. The mobile practice visits horses in their familiar surroundings, with a level, dry work area, electricity and water required.

Stephanie studied Equine Management in Wageningen and trained as an equine dental practitioner in Canada with Louis Pequin. She continues her professional development through specialist courses and annual industry conferences. In addition to dental services, she offers mobile riding lessons for Western and leisure riders, and gives talks and workshops for private groups, stables and associations. Appointments, treatment costs and travel arrangements depend on the horse’s needs and location; group bookings at the same stable can help reduce travel costs.
