About Denver Art Museum
Located in Denver, Colorado, the Denver Art Museum is a renowned cultural institution that aims to provide engaging artistic experiences for all visitors. One of their unique offerings is the Art & About program, specifically designed for individuals with early-stage Alzheimer's or dementia and their care partners. Led by specially trained guides, these tours allow participants to explore and discuss various artworks together.
The program takes place on the second Thursday of each month, with changing themes to offer diverse experiences. Registered participants can enjoy free admission to the museum, including the tour. However, space is limited, so interested individuals are encouraged to email access@denverartmuseum.
org to secure their spot. The tours take place in the Martin Building's Level 1 Creative Hub, Ruby Room. This program is just one of the many initiatives supported by the Denver Art Museum to foster inclusivity and engagement with art in the community
